Starting point. Garrard 2025TC — one of a pair, same base deck as VCW / 003, each finished in its own distinct direction.

The build. Custom plinth in multi-layer Russian plywood, glossy black finish with exposed wood grain, paired with a black metal plinth in gold glitter. Pioneer ES-2000 tonearm fitted with new 0.5mm ball bearings. Fully manual operation with lift. Motor, belt and suspension checked. New wiring, kept simple and efficient.

Result. Comes with an Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge.
